discoveries after the wedding bells

La Vie En Rose

Literal translation: The Life in Pink
Meaning: Life is happy.

On the contrary, im having a not so good week. I’ve been sick since the weekend, a bad cough that just wont go away and the worst thing is, i lost my voice so i’ve lost a couple of days of work! *!@?!?!!*

But at least, i do have something to be happy about

We’ve had this for a week now, a new Panasonic inverter refrigerator.

Taken before i went to the grocery to get our stocks

Our old ref was just too small and cramped to hold my goodies. Now my stash of sweets have their own shelf and i can now happily hoard cheese without fearing they will be squished.

The best thing about this ref is that it supposedly cuts power consumption by up to 20%! Certainly a wonderful gadget for a foodie like me!

Now if only i could have my voice back…

A film about Edith Pilaf, released in 2007. I know its been 3 years since its release but I still can’t wait to watch it!

  2. Cool fridge! Now that I live in the UK, I am so aware how awesome fridges in America are. I love opening them up and looking at all the goodies. Mine is so tiny.

    • hi heavenly housewife! i remember my hubby’s fridge in Japan, it was the tiniest contraption! Over there, they don’t really store food and buy mostly on a day to day basis, it fresher they say. Is that the same thing in the UK?

  3. ganda ng ref! was about to ask why the insta-noodles inside the ref. we have the same prob with invading ants in the kitchen. what i do is put the noodles inside a air tight container which you can easily buy at saizen or 88 store. for extra reinforcement with the ants, line the sides of the inside of the pantry with ground pepper. i swear it works.

hope you get your voice back doc mitzi, get well soon.
