Weekend Food Choices Week 73 : A Sweet Getaway

Last weekend hubby surprised me with a short trip

we never do valentine dates but hubby usually follows through with a nice getaway, this year it was a total surprise

after the nice drive up the mountains we were both famished and decided to get some comfort fast food

we love Army Navy‘s Libertea and i usually order this with burger

but as this was no ordinary fast food date, we decided we would each order something new

hubby ordered a starving sailor steak

very yummy, not one of the finest cheese steaks we’ve had but good enough, the serving is quite satisfying as well

hubby recommended his favorite longganisa breakfast burrito which i’ve never had before

the poster on the counter said a burrito can be enjoyed in 4 easy steps so i followed…

peel, squeeze and eat…

so good!

this warm breakfast burrito is the best for egg fanatics like me. the fluffy soft scrambled eggs fill the whole burrito and is perfect with the crunchy saltiness of the longganisa…so delicious!

we left happily stuffed! Till my next breakfast burrito….

  1. LOVE Army Navy! I just had their chicken burrito last night. And yes, their Libertea is good … and freedom fries too!

Your marriage is wonderful. Based on your posts, its never boring and I think that’s admirable. šŸ™‚
