Weekend Food Choices Week 25: A Greek Cuisine Gathering

Every year the SGD friends get together during the holidays to reminisce about the group’s younger days and to catch up on how our practice have progressed (or not).

A long table for 15 was reserved at the terrace of the Eastwood Mall.

The turn up was good this year with friends we rarely see present for our 2009 get together.

Our group was creating quite a ruckus at the long table and the waiters were probably thanking the heavens that they put us outside.

Good food does get us excited!

Tzatziki with Pita Bread

This classic yogurt dip is one of my favorite greek appetizer.

Steam Bowl of Mussles

This was the table’s favorite. The white wine, lemon and parsley made such a delicious broth!

Greek Gambas Pasta

The roasted prawns, tomatoes and feta cheese made such a lovely pasta!

Cyma’s Short Ribs

Very tender with delicious flavors!

Grilled Pork Chops

The boys’ favorite =) Juicy and very tasty!

Definitely a great dinner!

as the Greeks would say…OPA!
