Dessert Discovery: Carmen’s Best Artisan Ice Cream

The sun finally decided to grace us with her presence and just in time too!

A couple of days ago i found out that Carmen’s Best has a drop off point near our home so i could not resist passing by to get me some delicious artisan ice cream

i first tasted Carmen’s Best artisan ice cream at one of the Ultimate Taste Test events in Rockwell.

We so loved the ultra creamy dessert but acquiring them was pretty tough … until now!

We decided to start with the flavors we’ve tasted before, the butterscotch pecan and salted caramel…just because we so missed them. But believe me, when i saw the freezer full of their stocks, i almost wanted to buy a couple more than i had planned. Good thing a little self discipline kicked in!

The secret to Carmen’s Best Ice Cream is the source of the milk and cream they use for their cold dessert. And because they only use fresh cream and milk from their own dairy farm, the Real Fresh Dairy Farms, supply is limited.

Real Fresh Dairy Farms care for Holstein-Sahiwal cows chosen among dozens of breeds that receive the best natural food and care that assure first class, farm-fresh milk and other dairy products. They also produce the delicious Holly’s Chocolate Milk i so love.

Carmen’s Best cold desserts have a higher cream content than most ice creams and this is what gives it the crea-miest almost butter like consistency i have never tasted in any other ice cream before.

So good!

(forgive the slightly melted scoops…im such an amateur photographer)

Worth every mouthful!…definitely pure indulgence!

…i think i might be ready for a couple more scoops now…

    • Hi Guia! I must agree that their malted milk is also very good…it’s actually what i had in mind to get the next time we visit. Did you check the list of i think 7 drop off points? Maybe there might be one near you.
