Slow Cooked Smoked Ribs
i love to eat! unfortunately i don’t cook …but im sure glad hubby can
this has been in storage for a while.
we actually got so excited when we bought our grill that we went around shopping for grilling things, this pack of wood chips included, and a couple of days ago, we finally bought the meat to use it with
so after marinating the rack of ribs with dry rub, white wine, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce overnight -don’t ask for proportions as i have no clue, hubby fired up the grill, with a blow torch none the less, and started to smoke the pork
during the smoking process i couldn’t help but peek inside
-hence the smoked porky smell that clung to my newly blow dried hair that day…drat!
but oh the sight was all worth it!
Yuuuummmm!
so after a little more than 10 hours in the smoking grill this was hubby’s slow cooked smoked ribs
perfect with romaine lettuce drizzled with balsamic vinegar and my favorite sesame dressing
thank goodness for husbands who can cook!
wow! 10 hours, i wish i have that so much patience as your husband because i love to experiment once in a while. 🙂
btw, the smoke pork looks so so good!
hi dra, very nice article! i’ve been doing ribs for the past months as well. where do you buy your ribs? i’ve been looking for a cut that nice for a very long time. thanks! 🙂
hi January, you can actually leave the ribs in the smoker and ger it when its done, its my kind of cooking actually 🙂
RJ, we chanced upon the cut when we checked out the newer supermarket in megamall, the one near ADB, but you can find good cuts in Rustans, we’d love to see your bbq creation whe you go grilling!
awesome, will look into it, thanks dra! haha, ok, will share some pics when i get the chance. thanks again! REALLY cool blog (i’m a fan, haha!). ;D
