Weekend Food Choices Week 63: Happy Events

This year we couldn’t make it to my baby sister’s birthday dinner so hubby and i decided we would do some celebrating of our own

hubby and i decided we would have dinner at Jozu Kin

surprisingly, baby sis also celebrated at a japanese restaurant this year.
we do have a propensity of finding good food

Jozu Kin is the place to go for delicious tiger prawn tempura

each tiger prawn measuring half a foot even without the batter, it’s tempura heaven!

their sushi rolls are pretty delicious as well

Spicy Tuna Roll

Dragon Roll

unagi, ebi, cucumber and mango

everything was just yummy!
Happy birthday baby sis!

Where do you love celebrating happy events?

  1. It’s hard to beat great Japanese food for celebrations! It’s usually my first choice, simply because we don’t go often enough. However, for my and my husband’s birthdays, we opted for Barcino in Rockwell (also GB5). A bottle of wine, some tasty tapas and just savoring each other’s company make for a special night out. šŸ˜Ž

    • Barcino is also a favorite of ours Tracey! i love their tapas and wine/cocktails but we got disappointed they stopped serving mojitos in their rockwell branch (just because it was so good)…
