discoveries after the wedding bells

Not Exactly Lemonade

Hubby and i missed our Cine Europa date the other day so we decided on movie night at home with good movie snacks…bubble tea and chips

we discovered Chatime a few blocks away from our home last month and hubby and i were thrilled at the idea of its proximity

it was like a light bulb that lit up in our heads *ting*

as you would imagine, there is always a crowd in Chatime

but the line is always served efficiently and with so many drinks to choose from, it seems impossible to tire of this place

We were always puzzled why this place was so large

we found out why when we brought our drinks up to the second floor

…ooohhh a secret laboratory!

the ambiance at Chatime is fresh and youthful

just like their milk tea

delicious on a warm day…or any day at that!

Hubby ordered the milk tea

while I ordered the taro milk tea

according to the drink’s instructions, it should be finished within 2 hours of serving

but why would you wait 2 hours to finish such good drinks?!

and for that reason we were back in line instead of watching Cine Europa

…when life hands you lemons make lemonade

…or in our case get milk tea!

  1. How did you like the Taro milk tea. That’s one of our favorite drinks there, not like the dark violet colored concoctions of their competitors.

    • I absolutely loved the Taro milk tea Richard! you could tell it’s not just mixed with flavoring because you can feel the texture of the taro fibers in the drink…yum!

  3. i don’t think i’ve ever had a beverage that came with instructions! this looks tasty, so there’s no worry about it lasting more than 2 hours in my presence. 🙂
