The World’s Best Burger Tested

With the best angus burger we’ve tasted so far being served a street away from our home, its no surprise why it took us so long to try this place out

Murray & D’vine boasts of the best burger in the world

they also serve a wide selection of wines, cocktails and specialty beers

in my opinion, the ambiance was a tad bit too dark for burgers

but M&D envisioned taking the burger experience to a new level, served as a gourmet meal, that is

service was definitely great, everyone was cheery and attentive and our server seemed to know the menu well

Hubby and i decided we would start with a glass of mojito

as luck would have it cocktails were 50 off, how cool is that?!

i got the 1/2 pound Angus Beef Burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions

hubby asked if i had wanted blue cheese instead of cheddar with my burger but i wanted to appreciate the flavor of the angus beef so i decided to decline

i had my burger medium rare as suggested by our server.

Angus burgers are served medium rare to maintain their juiciness so for those who are finicky about how their meat is cooked, make sure you specify how you want your burger cooked.

In my opinion, medium rare is the way to go
the patty was delicious and juicy but the burger got cold really quickly, actually hubby and i suspected that the patty may have been precooked…

hubby ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Burger
a combi of beef burger and tender US steak with cheddar and swiss cheese, green and red peppers and sauteed onions

i thought that the flavors of the peppers and sauteed onions were perfect with the burger and steak. after some thought, i actually liked this burger better than my gourmet burger

We were filled to the brim but when i saw this i decided we had a little more space left for dessert

There were only 3 cakes available, chocolate, carrot and white chocolate cheesecake and since hubby is not a chocolate fan and is not too crazy about carrots either we went with the cheesecake

definitely a sweet way to end dinner

the world’s best burger? i don’t know about that, but they are definitely good enough!
