Taste This Gayuma
The holiday season is a time for parties and its always nice to hold gatherings somewhere interesting to eat new exciting dishes
One such event was when we had our annual HS get together. HL suggested we have dinner at Gayuma ni Maria in QC and because i’ve been a certified QC gal for the past month, i excitedly agreed.
Gayuma ni Maria is a simple restaurant with a quirky twist. All the dishes are given unique names so you’ll have to read through the description in the menu if you’re a newbie.
Hubby wanted to try this appetizer on his palate. I on the other hand was a little reluctant to sink my teeth into these fiery-looking cheese sticks because the green peppers looked so intimidating but after hubby downed 2 sticks happily munching with a smile on his face (yes, he loved the hot cheese stick twist), i decided to be brave. Surprisingly these were pretty good! The pepper was mildly spicy and with each bite warm gooey cheese would ooze out of the wrapped pepper. I was almost tempted to order another plate!
Tuliro
Nachos and lettuce topped with fruits, meat, and cheese sauce
A good dish to munch on while waiting for everyone to arrive and it wasn’t long until everyone got to the dinner and then, that’s when the fun began.
Its always great to see HS friends!
Hopefully next time we’ll be able to complete the whole group. We miss you JT & MC!
-thank you to DT who took most of the pictures that night.
