How to Eat Your Chocolate

A couple of weeks ago, my two good friends, official lovebirds RM & MH, gave me a box of what is to become one of my favorite chocolates today

i know Truffettes de France has been in Manila for years now but i’ve never really gotten a chance to get a box as im always scurrying past its kiosk lest i salivate in front of the display!

The foil and gel ice kept the box cool during transport

oohhh caramel and chocolate *drool*

The gold foil reveled perfectly shaped truffles coated in coco powder

I have this peculiar habit of reading through all the text in the boxes of food i consume but this is the first time ive encountered such detailed directions on how to eat chocolates, or anything else for that matter!

At the right temperature, these truffles smear your fingers and melt in your mouth into a delicious glob

Left out too long in this Manila heat and you will end up with dirtier fingers but a delicious mouthful just the same…
