4 pound challege

A couple of days ago, i decided to restart a healthier lifestyle by joining a gym. According to my trainer i need to loose 4 pounds to achieve my ideal weight *gag*.


I haven’t exercised for years now and the other day, I was made to run the treadmill for 15 min, do push ups for 2 min, etc until i was red in the face!

Out of breath but feeling a new sense of achievement, i actually felt good that i was active again.

After the workout i had 2 cups of coffee and started thinking about my loot. (not very productive)


These are a couple of my favorite cheap sweets.


Ferrero’s Kinder Schokolade was one of my favorite sweets as a child. I remember always asking for the Kinder Egg and collecting the small toys inside. I kept wondering why i could never find the Kinder surprise anymore until i found out that they were banned because of chocking hazards…booooo!

One of my new found favorite sweets is Meji’s Strawberry Chocolate

Once you open the box, sweet strawberry scent fills the air but popping these cones in your mouth is happiness in a different level, quite addicting if i may say so.

Obviously, i’m not ready to give up my food finds just yet (or ever!) and so i wonder if i will ever reach my goal just by increasing my physical activity…

…how long do you think it would take me to loose my 4 unwanted pounds just by adding exercise to my weekly routine?

  4. as i’ve seen you in last year’s pba, i don’t think something’s wrong with your weight; (timbang ko pa, hehehe!)you don’t look like you’re a foodie at all, doc! (that’s a compliment). so go ahead, indulge more in chocolates! 😀

    Tangled Noodle, i commend you on your self control for eating your stash of sweets slowly, i would have gobbled them up in no time if they were mine! hahaha! I guess i’ll have to work hard on keeping my mind on my goal…
