Thinking Positive to Stay on Top of the World

Three weekends ago, hubby took me to dinner on the top of the world

funny that in about the same amount of time from today, i will be facing a challenge…

Dinner was definitely lovely, dim lights, the sounds of strings filling the air, and of course good food and wonderful company.

Cognac Cured Salmon Tartare
I love salmon so this dish with smoked salmon, tomato confit and caviar was really a lovely start for our dinner!

Lobster Salad
This was unusually good with its unique texture and flavors of guava vanilla dressing

Parmigiano Veloute
What i love about this soup was the crispy oyster that topped the dish. I had wanted to save the crispy shellfish for last but i just couldn’t help myself half way through the dish! *snicker*

Marinated Fillet of Beef Tenderloin
Cooked just the way hubby likes it -medium rare

Mushroom and Herb Crusted Barramundi Fillet
A perfect dish with great flavors.

Basil Panna Cotta
A good way to end a lovely dinner!

…..because i will have to step up to an important challenge in a couple of weeks, i need to concentrate on preparations. I am therefore taking a break from my food features, just for a couple of weeks of course!

I am enthusiastic i will still be on the top of the world after a lovely ending to my challenge!

Prayers and good wishes would be very much appreciated. See you in three weeks time!
