Life is like a Coffee Cup Half Full

I know of a number of people who just can’t seem to get any satisfaction from life.

The best example is a friend of mine who has always dreamed of leaving the country complaining that life is terribly tough in Manila. When that became a reality he started to complain that it was tough to find work in a foreign land and when he finally got work (shortly before the economy went sour), he complained that his salary was not enough…

Everyone has something to complain about.

I guess you just have to look at life as you would a glass coffee cup that is half full, otherwise blessings will pass you by while you’re complaining.

As for me, I’m pretty easy to please…just give me a good cup of coffee (at least half full i hope!) and some sweets and I’m good to go!

Starbucks Beans from our lovely cousins

Crinkles from Palawan

Buttered sweet bread roll, also from Palawan

Life is not perfect, but it provides us with just enough to satisfy our needs!

…on that note, i am very excited about the 2 new work places where ill be starting next month, one in QC and another in Ortigas…im sure this will pave the way to new great food finds! yay!
