Delicious Crepes outside of Paris
Who would have thought that such delicious crepes could be found in Denver?
Our cousins took us out for dinner at Crepes ‘n Crepes a French Creperie.
They have been raving about this place since they found out we were visiting them this month and i was as excited as i could be to try the delicious crepes out.
I was a bit confused though that we were having dinner there. Oh we’ll probably have french dishes first then order crepes for dessert i thought. WRONG!
Once you step into this french bistro, you’ll feel like a regular at once with such a lovely and friendly staff. The owner and our amiable server met us at the door. I’m sure all the diners would agree with me when i say that the cheery atmosphere made the delicious crepes even more enjoyable!
It didn’t take us long to choose our dishes.
Seafood Special
Hubby and Ninong had this. It contained shrimp, crab, tuna and salmon. Delicious!!
Ratatouille
I ordered this with goats cheese. The creamy goats cheese blended so well with the roasted eggplant, onion, zucchini, red pepper, and tomatoes and soft velvety crepe with crunchy edges…yum!
Strawberry nutella
Ninong’s lovely wife went straight to dessert. It looked delicious!
Fruit salad
Our cute nephew ordered this platter of beautiful fresh fruits.
French Onion Soup
They all recommended that hubby had to try this. It was delicious!!! The cheese blanket was still bubbling when it was served. The caramelized onions lined the bottom of the bowl. Hubby almost didn’t want to share!
Strawberry Heather
Hubby and i shared this for dessert. If i was not so full from the delicious ratatouille i could have finished the whole thing because…well, you guessed it right, it was de-li-cious!
Belgian Chocolate Crepe
Simple and tasty treat for chocolate lovers.
This is definitely one of the restaurants i will miss when we leave Denver!
What a wonderful place to have delicious crepes outside of Paris!
