Waking up in Vegas
Packing my bags the last minute is so not me, but then that’s what marriage does to you *wink*.
We got to the airport on time and headed to the lounge to wait for our flight to board.
We always look forward to the hot lugaw (porridge) at the airport lounge, you can call it our little pre departure ritual. This time around though we were happy to see dimsum in the lounge buffet which was decently good.
i was attracted to this dessert but it turned out that the brown base had a champorado like consistency. I didn’t really like it so i just settled for another serving of dimsum *snicker*.
After boarding, it took us a while to take off because there were several planes landing on the same strip. A couple of planes lined up waiting for their turn to take off.
The weather was fairly nice and it wasn’t long before the shades were down and food was served. Hubby and i tried to sleep for a couple of hours.
I was surprised that the direct flight to Vegas was not really direct at all. There was a 1 hour lay over at Vancouver where we had to disembark and wait in the holding area. There were just a few passengers left continuing on the flight.
Before long, we were over the desserts of Nevada.
Hubby and i were wide awake.
The view was spectacular!
Its funny how you’d see a vast stretch of desert and then suddenly find specks of land with houses complete with grass and all.
Wide eyed with excitement, i imagined all the endless possibilities waiting for us…
wow out of the country pala kayo ah! enjoy enjoy! looking forward to those amazing shots 🙂 have fun mitzi! regards to your hubby! 🙂
Thank you for taking us through your trip all the way to the plane ride LOL! I wonder what that brown sugar paste is in your drink dessert…
