Superfruit Preserve

I was trying to look for a really good present for my relatives in LV and i realized that it wasn’t easy. With majority of Pinoy products already accessible to them, i was at a loss.

That is until i found this

Mangosteens are said to be one of the superfruits with a combination of good taste, fragrance and visual qualities, nutrient richness, antioxidant properties and potentially may decrease the risk against human diseases.

I remember first tasting this fruit and thinking that the sweet and citrusy flavor was so good.

That’s why i was thrilled when i saw this product of sold at Sitsirya

I was almost sure they didn’t have this there and would make a nice present for my relatives away from home

I of course had to try it myself, just to make sure it was good *wink*

The mangosteen preserve looked and smelled sweet

The hot pandesal was ready to be paired

Just a word of caution though, the mangosteen preserve have pits in them so it would be wise to remove these first if they will be served to children

Just a thin spread gave the pandesal the wonderful delicate flavor of magnosteen.

I should have bought more…

Available at Sitsirya Pasalubong Outlets:

  1. Kablon Farms products is my favorite pasalubong to bring home from Gensan (aside from Manny Pacquiao souvenirs, of course). Have you tried their chili powder? Super anghang! Must try also is their tablea.
