Weekend Food Choices Week 12: Hubby’s Idea of a Date

When i came home from work, hubby asked if i wanted to go out on a date. Excitedly, i went into our closet and put on my dancing shoes. But i should have known i only needed my appetite in tow.

Hubby and i have had Sango in our weekend food choices for a long time now but it kept getting bumped off.

This week, it had no rival.

Sango’s casual ambiance was quite inviting. You could choose to order at the counter or through the order kiosk, a vendo machine like apparatus where paper money is inserted in the slot and food choices punched in, located at the far right.

Hubby decided to reminisce his days in Tokyo.

only to find out that Kirin was already made in China under the supervision of Kirin brewers.

I, on the other hand, wanted to see how their yogurt shake would taste like

unfortunately, i dont think i would order it again. I found it too sweet, lacking the sourness of fresh yogurt.  Hubby thought it tasted like kids’ suspension (?!)

Sango’s master burger was however a winner

The secret meat sauce had just the right flavor to compliment the beef, cheese, mayo and mustard. It was reminiscent of the sloppy joes i used to eat as a kid (minus the white onions)

Hubby and i loved the soft bread and delicious mix of meat and flavors. He, however thought that the burger was bitin (too small to satisfy his appetite).

Maybe they make it small so you to keep wanting to come back…

  1. Ahhh, my idea of comfort food! Sango burgers are small-ish, but you can always be sure that they never skimp on taste and quality. Whenever I’m there, I grab a side of their chunky fries and a Calpis soda in peach. 😀
