simple pleasures
we just finished watching an indian movie Slumdog Millionaire.

Slumdog Millionaire
this is a british drama film adapted from an indian novel entitled Q & A. it depicts shockingly realistic details woven in an interesting plot and an unusual story board.
this movie was recommended by hubby’s office mates and of course we grabbed the opportunity so that we would have an excuse to munch on our crunchy purchase.

Bulacan Chicharon
we were cruising near our street when we spotted this stall that had 3 packs of these and of course we could not help but buy a pack!
as you can see, this pack had a lot of pork meat which i am such a fan of! this reminds me of the times when my mom would come home from bulacan and bring home pastillas, fresh milk and really meaty chicharon…YUUUM!
speaking of comfort food, i got a good surprise this afternoon when a knock on our bedroom door revealed home cooked sugi nuts!
i just love munching on these because they’re bland enough to pig out on without really feeling porky! good thing i dont have any nut allergies!
… the nutty couple went to an adorable little lady bug’s 2nd bday party last sunday
what is a kiddie party without the traditional pineapple and hotdog entree?!

the party was truly an example of how simple pleasures are, well, simply the best!
