discoveries after the wedding bells

these are my favorite things

like ive said in a previous blog, i am a euro child. maybe my cultural exposure as a child had something to do with it. i love european songs, their old fashion ways (im such manang), i love english movies (4 weddings and a funeral, about a boy, bank job -a must watch!) and actors (hugh grant, jude law), corny english comedies (except mr bean), duran duran, the beatles, english tea, and now a new addition to my list of english things i fancy, penhaligon’s lavendula!

i always thought that english perfumes were weird smelling from the bottle but once put on skin it just turns into something wonderful. this scent has a powdery finish to it and it just smells heavenly! (THANK YOU MOMMY!)

now speaking about the movie bank job…..my hubby and i were spending our weekend lounging around watching movies when we got hooked onto this movie. it was good, it was based on a true story, it had government involvement, and it had a european setting, where could you go wrong?! so hubby and i both thought it was an old movie (but thoroughly enjoyed it) until we went to rockwell and saw the poster on the coming soon slot! what a treat!
