New Dishes at Our Fave Neighborhood Restaurant

We’ve been raring to go back to Mad Mark’s since we heard they revamped their menu with new sandwiches and even rice dishes, so last week we just had to go

I had wanted to try their upper smash city sandwich. The description of angus beef and sausage smashed into a patty with 2 kinds of farm grown mushroom, and 3 cheeses: american, parmesan, mozzarella, was just too tempting to pass up, but unfortunately it was not available…boohoohoo

Hubby did however get his 11 oz Bootstrap Steak wish

This was so good i completely forgot they didn’t have the sandwich i originally wanted!

The pilaf rice paired very well with the melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked, savory, 11 oz steak.

The was steak nicely done with grill marks and a pink center, while the sauce added a sweet savory touch to the meat so that a bite will definitely send you to steak heaven

I loved our meal especially topped off with their refreshing home made iced tea
