Alone Times Can Be Good Times

A couple of nights ago, hubby had an event to go to leaving me all alone for dinner
my dinner partner in hubby’s absence

we loved our first visit to Mad Marks so i was enthusiastic to find out that they added a few more dishes in their menu

i was debating with my conscience if i had wanted to try one of their rice meals or stick with their delicious sandwiches.

my conscience got the better of me so i decided to order the Chicken Meltdown

Grilled chicken breast fillet served with mushroom sauce, bell pepper, caramelized onion and mozzarella

the sight of the sandwich was mouthwatering and it could not be better devoured than with their herb Parmesan fries.

i’ve actually given up on eating fries except for a few, namely the truffle fries of Bistecca and the parmesan fries of Stratta and now, these…i mean why accumulate additional calories if what you’re having is not absolutely delicious right?!

Now, i don’t think anyone has ever left Mad Mark’s without ordering their yummy home made ice cream!

This time i sampled their Walnut Fudge -the chill of the frozen dessert first hits your palate then a slight tingle from the swirl of fudge and finally a wonderful texture from the chopped walnuts.
…..simply delicious!

  1. If I were to eat alone, this would definitely make a suitable companion =)
