For the Love of Breakfast
My second favorite breakfast item (after sunny side up eggs) would have to be delicious bread spreads

i first heard of The Fruit Garden early last year
Frenchman Pierre Marmonier and his wife Andrea offer luxury fruit jams with the use of local ingredients. They cook local fruits in small batches in copper cauldrons and proudly bottles them preservative free.
As i am a sucker for interesting food products like this, i bought a box last year and happily ate breakfast bread for the next few days.
Whether it be on french baguette, english muffins or on our favorite bagel…it was breakfast happiness!
at that time i loved their mango collection’s mango ginger and from then on i was hooked! I don’t think there was ever a time our fridge went without The Fruit Garden’s luxury jam in it after my first purchase.
TFG offer seasonal collections.
Last year i went crazy for their mango vodka so this year i decided i would give another seasonal collection flavor a try
This morning hubby and i decided to have a cozy breakfast at home
my new found jam flavor and lightly toasted plain bagel
now you should know that hubby does not share my love for jams and preserves
he happily opts for his usual cream cheese
for me it was bagel, delicious jam and ice cold milk…definitely made my sunday morning!
then i had a bright idea, why not mix the jam with cream cheese…
the smooth slightly tangy cream cheese paired with the sweet berry jam…
Happy Sunday everyone!
What made you smile this morning?

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I also love jams. Must try the luxury jams soon.
flavorful jam bottles you got here, doc! i can enjoy them anytime of the day, hehe!
and what a killer combination of jam & cream cheese! delicious indeed
I love jams from The Fruit Garden and I agree that they’re perfectly matched with cream cheese and bagels. Have you tried their mango lavender? It’s a bit unusual, but it’s so lovely and soothing – the perfect thing for breakfast on stormy days.
