Welcoming 2010
After all the merry making last night (to be relayed in another post), i woke up in a good mood.
This morning, i finally got to use the coffee press i received from Santa
We decided to try the new discovery hubby made during his recent trip to Singapore.

And if that wasn’t a good enough start, we decided to have dinner at Spiral to treat our cousins who are from out of town.
I was determined not to pig out on the first day of the year and had halfheartedly decided to go a la carte but of course when i saw Spiral’s buffet line up, i was doomed.
Oh well, i have 364 days left to succeed…for now, i guess that diet would have to wait until tomorrow

where in singapore did you buy the coffee press? i was thinking of buying the starbucks coffee press, but this one looks better
hi anne, sorry for the confusion. we got the Davidoff coffee from Singapore but got the coffee press from ever reliable SM Megamall! hahaha! i was actually thinking of asking for the starbucks press but when i saw this in SM’s basement shelves near the mugs, i thought they looked much better. The press is made in Japan (luckily the instructions are in understandable English hehehe!). I also saw a couple of coffee press in Rustans but they’re a lot like the ones in starbucks without the logo that is.
